We organize computations into sessions with their own local variables (but all use a shared file space).
Each session is equivalent to a new computer running desktop software. (So three of our sessions is like running Matlab on three computers).
We currently support Matlab compatible (Octave), Python (matplotlib, NumPy, PyLab, ScipPy), and The R Project for Statistical Computing sessions. These are the most popular math computation packages today.
This screen shows us the session we have open and allows us to enter new commands, stop running commands, and more.

Click in the command area to enter commands. Hit enter to execute them (hey, just like other desktop computation environments, only better!)

Our command is now executing. Note we can cancel commands using the stop link, or under the "More actions" menu

Voila, we have created a vector of integers.

Why be limited to one session? Open sessions shows other sessions we have created.
As in Gmail, we can add labels to sessions, star them, and perform actions on them (stop running sessions for instance).

Session info shows us the command history for this session and its current environment variables.

Upload existing Matlab scripts, or create new ones. Again, we can label and star these for better organization.

Edit scripts in your browser.

View the figures and files your sessions have generated. Label and star these as well. Click to see and download larger figures or full file contents.
